Aboot us:
Eminence is a PvE Casual+ Raiding guild. We are Mums and Dads, College Students, Military and Workers: We are many things here. We like alotta stuff, from PvP to Lore, We wanna see content, We wanna have fun, and we don't wanna spend hours upon hours doing so. We have a very casual Atmosphere, a lot of fun, jokes, Taters and good times to be had. When it comes to raids: We bring A-game, and have fun doing so.
We have grown a lot since the beginning, starting out trying to form a 25 man core, however, with the changes on the horizon with Cataclysm, we have formed 10 man groups instead, though, we are open to 25s and do them now and then when we have the manpower. We also have a few active PvPers in our guild, when we aren't raiding, to hang out with. Most importantly, good mates to have fun and enjoy the game with. We also make stuff go squish.
Teh Rool Basix:
Applicants have to be 16 years or older, though exceptions can be made for skilled and mature applicants... lolmaturityinWoW.
Upon Invite, there is a Probation period of 2 weeks, and a participation requirement of 4 raids. We will then hold a guild vote. If you get the Thumbs up, you are promoted, there will be cake. If not, then we feel that we aren't the guild for you, and a complementary Cupcake shall be awarded.
Guild Chat is rated "M" for ur mum, however, extreme insults, racial slurs and the like, will not be tolerated. If you cannot handle this, then this may not be the guild for you. We like to joke around at each others n'ur mothers expense, if you do not have thick skin, then this may not be the guild for you.
It is expected when you wear the guild tag (out and about, pugs, general chant, bg's, wg, etc) that you stay classy! Any reports of ninja'ing, deliberate wiping, serial BG' afk'ing, etc, will not be tolerated once checked out for accuracy. If you want to ninja loot, or act like an complete ass, don't apply in the first place, and don't expect to be treated with a light "ha-ha" touch.

Our current loot system is a Need > Greed System, you get 1 need per night. If you need other items, you may still roll need. However, if someone else rolls, who has used less needs than yourself, the item will be awarded to them, even if you have won the roll. This is to ensure loot is evenly distributed, and includes Tier.
We ask that you research and know what items are upgrades for you in advance to move through the looting process faster and to ensure that loot goes to those who can best utilize the gear.

Going by SERVER time, our raids are set to 9:30pm, on a Friday and Saturday night, for Progression Content. However, due to our nature, sometimes these things change. Ie: We might do Sarth midweek, Or a Vault when we have control.
Food, Consumables and the like are required on raid nights, if you pass the Probationary and become a member, these will be provided by the Bank if you actively contribute to the cause.
Your gear must be Enchanted and Gemmed. If doesn't have to be the BEST enchants and BEST gems on and in your blue gear, but something relevant and correct for your role. And on shiny purples? Best you can get if you can afford it. (Most of the time, will be provided by the guild bank.)
Know your class, know all aspects of it, Know what you need in terms of stats, and gear. Know your correct DPS rotations for your spec, Know how to tank effectively, or how to heal properly.
We will not baby you if you are doing the wrong thing and make the same repeated mistakes (IE: Standing in Fire). You will be called up for it, If you are not performing at your potential, we'll talk and see what we can do to fix it. We aren't going to be complete assholes about it, but if you cannot take advice, critique or cannot spend at least 5-10mins to look something up to improve yourself game wise, or just don't listen, you'll be LFGUILD.
