Thanks for the help on the healing. That did help out from the tips I was told. I still need more help tho, so if anyone that plays a shaman healer wants to join me in heros and watch my jesus heal and give me more tips that will be great.

Thanks

From what I could gather, best way to heal shaman style is cast Earth Shield, then Flame Shock, followed by Lavaburst, and spam Lightning Bolt until your Lavaburst cooldown is up. And be sure to refresh Flame Shock on your target. After you loot spam chainheal and re-apply Earth Shield. That about sums it up.

Ahahaha. XD

While this method of Shaman healing is perfectly viable in a group setting with people who are somewhat competent and geared, in a standard group or a raid, you will actually have to heal!

While a lot of the healing basics are fairly straightforward: Heal who needs healing, manage your mana, Cure Status.. ect. Each healing class has different tools and different styles to healing, and as such, with Shaman:

Your most Mana Efficient Heal, by far, is Chain Heal, when it bounces to more than one target. You need to learn how to gauge bounce distance in game, and use it accordingly, if its not going to bounce, you are better off using another heal. If you can predict incoming damage in a group close enough to bounce it, precast chain heal so it fires just after the incoming damage.

In a scenario where you are included in that cluster (Heavy continuous AoE, like phase 3 on the Black Knight, Hodir, and so on), If you do not have a Paladin Healing Buddy in Raids or the spell pushback talents, cast Earthsheild on yourself and, Using riptide on cooldown to balance HP bars out, fire chain heal at the riptide target, as the 25% heal bonus applies to all bounces of the heal, then fire at lowest HP target until Riptides back up, and repeat.

Second Most efficient heal: Lesser Healing Wave. Its Fast, it heals for a decent amount, its cheap and if it crits, it can only cost 100~ Mana, as well as hit another target with a small heal. This is generally what you cast most of the time. Glyphed into Earth Sheild, its a great tank heal. When you just need to top someone off, LHW, fire it on the tank, if it crits, it hits that dps taking a little bit of splash damage, Silly Mage pulling aoe aggro on the trash packs, Earthsheild him and spam crit LHW while he bounces around aoeing some more ( <.< ).

...will post more at a later date i gtg! >.<

Well Kymie and Jangles took up the quest to be in test group 1 to see how jesus heals worked! I did okay and only had one death the only bad thing was i let the wrong gnome lock live :luigi:! Random0001242343 gnome lock from random server died and not Jangles. I will keep doing dungeons and getting more badges for more equipment.

Let me know if anyone wants to be part of test group 2 and get exercise running to the dungeon as a ghost. :sword:

Haha, gnome go bleeeh.

I thought you did good, kept me up when i was bad and pulled ze aggro. Oh, and that other gnome constantly spammed seed of corruption, so he should have expected the aggro he pulled and then in turn died from.
