So; 20% reduction to dodge. because of diminishing returns, anything above 28% currently is a wasted stat. So going into this encounter, tanks will net ~8% dodge.

Means tanks are going to need to go back to stacking stam, and healers are going to have to increase their healing. With this much loss in dodge, tanks will be getting hit fairly constantly. Gonna be a pain in the ass imo. :(

I actually think this might be a good thing. Right now, we spam heals on the tanks because we have no idea whether they're going to get hit twice in a row or not. If they do and we don't get a heal off in between, they die. If they don't, we're racking up loads of overhealing and wasting mana. Mana is not really an issue right now and because of that we're able to spam heal like this, but that doesn't make it fun or challenging to do.

I would rather the tanks have less evasion and have the bosses hit a little softer than to have to try and guess when I will absolutely have to get 2 quick heals off in a row or risk wiping the group. Sometimes that is necessary when the boss is using their special attacks (like phase 1 Mimiron), but it shouldn't be a constant thing.

Because of the massive evasion levels tanks can reach right now Blizzard has been compensating by making the bosses hit that much harder. That is why when we were just getting in to Ulduar we could not do Hodir with 2 Druid, 1 Shaman healer. Because none of those classes have the OMGTANKJUSTTOOK55%DAMAGEINONESWINGWTFSHITSHITSHIT heals that we needed to keep the tanks up. Not to mention there was no way we could do it and heal the raid.

I see the tanks are scared, but as a healer, I'm hopeful. I don't think it's going to be as bad as you guys thing it will.

Stacking stam is going to be valued less in ICC probably actually, they're making the bosses to hit less hard, but a lot faster therefore mitigation looks like it's going to be the key to ICC. Stam stacking is just going to result in mana soak tanks. Not to make stam out to be a worthless stat though. The loss of avoidance is definitely a good thing overall.
